Injustice (or should I say - in the words of JF and Dewi - Cats are stoopid!)

The other afternoon when all the humans were getting ready to leave the house...

Typical scene. Nothing too unusual.

Eva likes a big (dog) bed.

W.T.Fudge? Mom? Please help us understand. Why do we only get a rubber toothbrush?

It's just not right.

Hope you're treated fairly today. ;)

  1. Dewi seems to be giving you his best innocent look..... What would happen if you left them free? Possibly some really good blog material :-)

  2. That's terrible! Your poor poor souls.

  3. Nick definitely thinks the crate is unfair, especially when Rufus likes to go sit just within sight and do his best "neener neener" action.

I shall post you a cake with a file inside so that you can break out when they are least expecting it....SShhhh! Don't tell anyone.

  5. Hi Y'all,

Yep, they treat me really fair! However, I had to earn my freedom.

  9. Hee hee :)

@Taryn - They'd probably sleep...eventually. The last time I left them out in the kitchen area they chewed up a bench and some cabinet corners. So, yes, blog material. :)

    @Builder Mama - Oh, poor Nick! :)

@Winnie - Well, let me just tell ya, they wouldn't need a file. They've figured out how to move the x-pen around the room until it rides up onto the rug and then they root out from underneath. (That's why we push heavy wrought iron tables beside them now.) Nice idea, though. ;)

@Hawk - They will need to earn their freedom, too. :)

@Georgia - No, it's not natural. Eva was a rude, spiteful c-a-t for flaunting her freedom in the middle of the dog bed, of all places. JF and Dewi would put her in her place...if they weren't scared of her.

Yeah, they go in a "baby" pen when no humans are home. We love explaining it when visitors are over. :)

@All - Wouldn't I LOVE to get rid of the x-pen in my family room! We decided to keep it up past puppyhood so we wouldn't have to crate them during the day (the longest we've ever been away is 4.5 hours). (They sleep in crates at night...mostly.) They really don't mind the pen, it's just not every day that the "stoopid" cats rub it in their faces. :)

  10. The kitties will sleep in your bed when the dogiges are put away. They don't look very stoopid to me :)
