And this is what Eeyore looks like when getting a bath...

(Go here to see the "real" Eeyore.)

Poor Jon Farleigh.

(Interestingly, I'd say both dogs equally disliked their baths. JF just has a harder time hiding his misery. What a face. :)

What happened to Jonny's ears?!?
(My sweet boy.)

Hope your ears are "up" today! :)

  1. Poor, poor, poor Soggy Doggies. Ben has just placed An Incensed Call to the Va WDPS (Wet Dog Protective Services). Help is on the way.

  2. We loved your comment about lemonade snow, harhar...!

A bath is the pits. Jon, I feel for ya, buddy. The only reason we cats don't go through that ordeal is because our DNA makes us lick our fur constantly and have hurled hair instead of wet hair.

    Stay cool, my furriend!

  3. Hi Y'all!

Why did you show the bath time! Now my Human, who is reading over my shoulder, says I should take another one! Really!

    Y'all come by now,

  4. How does Jon Farleigh manage to look more Eeyore-y than Eeyore ever could? He is so adorable.

I'm on vacation--by myself until Friday except for a Very Vigilant Corgi who is on duty, not on vacation. He can't tear himself away from watching boats go by in front of the house. Everyone (including grandchildren) arrive on Friday and then he will really have his work cut out for him. But for now it's just nice long walks and lots of swimming and kayaking.
:o) Hope all is well with you & the gang.

  7. What a sad sack! Of course, I have the mini-JF at my house...Nick hates getting wet, hates baths, hates getting his paws wet...must be genetic!

  8. Awe...have to say we think water is much better when you get to swim in it rather than have it sprayed all over you.

  9. To All - JF says he appreciates your sympathy. Misery loves company, after all. :)

@Peggy - Alone on vacation with a corgi and boats sailing by the front porch? Now that's the stuff my dreams are made of. :) Have fun!
