A Few of My Favorite Parts - Part 1

[Thanks, Pup Fan, I have been inspired by your recent Eyes and Ears post.]

Okay, I give up. I've been sitting here trying to think of a way to say this without sounding like a crazy pet lady, but I can't, so here goes:


I'm coo coo for some of my pets' (yes, cats too) parts.
And lucky for you, I've decided to share. 
For starters...


Dewi's partially pink nostril and fuzzy lips

and, moving up the face...

his different colored whiskers

That adorn his...


red brindle cheeks,
which set off his captivating bronze eyes.
(Yes, that's an eye booger. I'm too lazy to edit it out.)

And then there are those...

forelegs

With their...

swirly, whirly elbows

And...

bubblegum paw pads.

      Oh, I thank you for asking me to join up - as my skills can be summed up as a crap shoot - but I don't think I have the discipline to add another daily thing to my list. Showering and brushing teeth are hard enough! :)

    you know i can't resist a big nosed dog. i love these pics. it tells me you really, REALLY see your dog. i also love pink soft pads. Georgia's used to be when we first got her. now they're tough and black and painful when she smacks me on the face. too many walks perhaps ;p

    you're doing the challenge TOMORROW? but i already did mine! hmmm.

      Dewi's nose used to be mostly pink, but it darkened. Don't be fooled that pink = baby soft, though. Dewi's paws are rough, too - especially when they scrape down your bare inner thigh.

    I love Lita's multi colored whiskers too. I'm always checking them to see if they change as she ages.

      Is it obvious? :) You should see the list of cat parts I'd like to photograph. The problem is, they aren't so cooperative and I fear bodily harm.
