The Dogs Must Be Crazy (no, really)

Ever see the original (not sequel) movie The Gods Must Be Crazy? You should. Especially the scene with the elephants. hee hee

That really has nothing to do with this post, though. I only mentioned it because it inspired my title. Because I really do think my dogs are crazy - at least when they do what they do with their leashes - in the video that I've got for you today.

But first, let me explain a couple things: I don't have a fenced yard, and although I live in a sparsely populated area, I never allow the dogs to run free out back unless they're supervised and their leashes are still attached. This will make perfect sense in the video.

I also disclaim the following:
  • Jon Farleigh appears (in the video) to be eating something that he got from the grass. It most certainly might have dropped from a deer. He would have eaten it even if I had made a scene.
  • The dogs run across the street and I don't run after them. There was nothing coming...for miles.
  • Jon Farleigh is not hurting Dewi. They bite each other's butts for fun. :)
  • If you are prone to motion sickness, use caution. My hand is not the steadiest. (Dramamine? Ginger ale, anyone?)
  • It's 10 minutes long. I had too much fun watching the action to cut off the camera. Oopsie! (really, it's fun)

Anyone else think I should hitch the boys up to a little red wagon?

Have a wonderful weekend!

P.S. Jon Farleigh "parts" next week!

    1. Thanks, Ellen. They look like odd little horses when they run in tandem like they do. :)

  3. It's like they're walking each other on a leash! You've got some great boys there, behaving just because you say "Boys!". Was Jon really giving it a good rubdown where he found the poop? lol

    1. Bassetmomma, honestly, I think my youngest (a boy) has tried to hook the dogs to his red wagon. Did NOT go over well. ;)

  5. Their antics with the leashes are hilarious! Except for the leashes, I probably have an identical video on my PC, only the color of the dogs is different. Oh, and a heavier emphasis on eating poop!

In other news, did you get the sad email that Picnik is closing :-( It breaks my heart. I guess they got bought out.

    1. Taryn, I bet you have some poop video - Jimmy and Wilson certainly have ample opportunity. :)

And, yes, I found the Picnik announcement in my spam folder this morning. I was SO hoping it was truly spam. NOT. I honestly felt nauseated. Turns out, Google owns Picnik and is rolling the features into Google+ (some are already there). I'm still sad - I hate change and I love going to Picnik - it's pretty. sigh

    1. I DID disclaim the length, GLP! ;-) And, the poo is nearly as vast as the field - darn deer.

  9. They are the cutest little corgis I have ever seen!!

My dogs eat the frozen horse poop all the time...dogs. It's what they do.

  10. Dewi:"I'm walking you!" John Farleigh:"No, I'm walking you!"

It's so nice that they can wear each other out (and they are SO much fun to watch!!)

Cali prefers to eat what we call "kitty crap snacks" - blech!!

  11. Mine call them 'tootsie rolls', although they like frozen dog 'poopsicles', too. Ewww......must be the canine version of smoking/chewing.
