- One year ago I had the crud. So I moaned, Dewi listened and we pretended we were in the movie When Harry Met Sally.
- I wrote a song parody about Dewi called Brown Eyed Merle.
- I have the crud again.
- Jon Farleigh needs his own song.
- I need a teddy bear.
Originally recorded by Elvis Presley in 1957 for the film, Loving You...
(Notes: If you're too young to know it, have a look/listen HERE, now. I beseech you. Also, Jon Farleigh changed two words of the original lyrics.)
(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear
Baby let me be
your lovin' teddy bear.
Loop a leash around my neck
and lead me anywhere.
'Cause lions ain't the kind you love enough.
Baby, let me be...
...Around you you every night.
Run your fingers through my hair...
...And cuddle me real tight.
Oh let me be (oh let him be)
Your teddy bear.
I don't wanna be a tiger.
'Cause tigers play too rough.
Don't wanna be a lion.
'Cause lions ain't the kind you love enough.
Loop a leash around my neck
and lead me anywhere.
Oh let me be (oh let him be)...
...Your teddy bear.
Oh let me be (oh let him be)
Your teddy bear.

Happy weekend, poopsies.
So cute! We hope you are better soon. Rest up and have a cuddle. Have a super snoozy Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
LOL! You are too young to remember that song!
ReplyDeleteYou almost made it through the winter w/o the crud. Hope you feel better soon!
Love it. Perfect! (I am so in love with JF...)
ReplyDeleteLove it! With you for a teddy bear it's guaranteed to make anyone feel better
ReplyDeleteThe greatness that is The Chronicles of Cardigan rolls on ... hilariously. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteWe care Lizbeth--just like my Harry!!!! He sleeps with me every night in my recliner (bum shoulder, neck) and wakes me if I oversleep by two minutes by pawing my hair or knocking my clock off the side table. He also needs valium for separation anxiety (just needs it, doesn't take it!!) as he yells when I go upstairs, outside to fetch the paper or mail, change my #1 uniform to my #2 uniform to stay longer by driving the car from the garage--smart Teddy Bear Cat!!! Oh, he also fetches his "mouse" every night and places it on my lap--sweeter than sugar and spice and everything that's NICE!!! We love Harry, our mouser..
ReplyDeleteFabulous pics! What a smile! Love it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better!
The only thing missing is a video of JF swiveling his hips. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
