Someone Else's Funny Photo Captions, an Update and a 'Bird' Song I Should've Posted Yesterday

Firstly, before anyone wonders why I've turned into an antisocial, self-centered no-commenter, I HAVEN'T! I'm just way behind reading your recent posts. I'll be back to leaving wisecrack comments on your blogs in no time! Yay!

Hey, would someone pass me a tissue? My nose is running off my face. Darn summer colds. :(

So for today I thought I'd post a couple hilarious photos that I didn't take, nor did I caption. My daughter received them in an e-mail and I copied them. They were originally posted at icanhascheezburger.com

I'm pretty sure that if Jon Farleigh and Dewi were a foot taller and had legs, they'd try this, too.

For the record, none of my cats are ever innocent. Don't you think that if this cat could speak English, it would have the same voice as Bacon Dog?

And now for the update I referred to in the title of this post.  Remember way back when I had a kitteh stowaway in my garage and then one day, it just disappeared? Well, guess who's made himself at home in my yard?

I took this photo yesterday through a window in my family room; Feral Grey Kitteh heard the dogs inside the house and planted his eyes firmly on the back door. He'd have bolted at the first sound of the knob turning. Oh, and this wasn't my first sighting of grey kitteh; no, he's been hanging around mooching food and shelter off of me and my neighbor for months. Such a shame he's wild.

Now, about the song I should've posted yesterday (with my Bird TV post). (Don't you hate it when you think of something smart that would've gone great with something you already posted?) Well, I don't know how smart this is, but this morning as I pondered those three little baby birds outside my doorstep, I thought of a song. Then I thought, dang, I should've posted this yesterday! I love this song! What a great song! :)

So, here you go. The song I should've posted yesterday. Enjoy!

Hope you have a worry-free weekend full of sweet melodies!

  1. Hi Y'all,

So funny!!! Yes, I'd try to poke the kitty!

    What a beautiful wild cat!

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

P.S. My Human read today that those sniffies are actually ragweed and mold allergies. Papa is suffering too.

  2. I've never poked my kitty sister before but she has poked me many times & even slapped me in the face too!

  3. LOL... the kitty really does have an innocent-looking expression. Maple, on the other hand, cannot hide her guilt. She's guilty, until proven innocent!

  5. Very funny.

But, for the record, NO cat is innocent. Not one of them. That's what I think anyway.

    Love and licks, Winnie

  6. @Hawk - I don't think it's allergies; I felt like I got hit by a bus at first, but now it's just a head cold. I hope your Papa feels better soon.

@Winnie - There is one. His name was Buster. :) Well, I don't know if the moles would agree with me. Oh well.
