How about some ketchup with your sack? |
I'll take my steak on a plate, thank you. ;-)
P.S. In fairness to the venue, the shrimp I ordered was yummy.
Out of curiousity I did a google search on what the heck that is. It is just steak in a pita! Or a steak gyro! Those sound much more appetizing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Helen! Yes, sometimes it's better not to fix something that isn't broken - as in the word pita. :)
DeleteWell, at least it wasn't Meatballs in a Sack ;-)
ReplyDeleteNICE ONE, TARYN! That's so funny, I think it should be a Super Bowl party menu item (somewhere)!
DeleteAnd while we're wallowing in the gutter, how about this:
Tube Steak And A Sack
(I hope no men are reading this.) :)
ROTFLMAO@Taryn. That is **exactly what I thought* Seriously people?! Think these names through!
ReplyDeleteKoly, I trust you will never let your Mama make anything with "sack" in the title!
DeleteBeans And Franks!
ReplyDeleteEww that conjures up a lot of bad images...what is steak in a sack?:)
ReplyDeleteCate - Helen looked it up and turns out, it's steak in a pita. The catering company must think no one knows what a pita is.
DeleteThere was an agility concession in New England that had intact and neutered chocolate chip cookies. The funny thing was that it took the dog people quite a while to figure out what that meant.
ReplyDeleteDina, it certainly sounds clever, and amusing too. But I admit I don't get it either! And I just googled neutered chocolate chip cookie and got several listings for adoptable pets on Petfinder who are neutered and named Chocolate Chip Cookie. Were they raw cookie dough balls vs the flat cookie?
DeleteIntact w/nuts
DeleteNeutered w/out nuts
if i could still eat steak, i'd take it anyway i could get it! lol
ReplyDeleteCute
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Hee hee. . . No one wants to see steak served in a sack!
ReplyDeleteThat just sounds......eeewwww!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteDog show food is the pits. We usually pack a lunch if we have to be there a long time. :)
ReplyDeleteBest dog show food EVER - the Atlanta clusters. They have fabulous food.
Deletehha...wow steak in a sac, with a side of weiners on a stick lmao
ReplyDeleteAt least it doesn't say "meat" in a snack. THEN I would really start to wonder :)
ReplyDeleteEw! LOL
